Thanks to Ian Johnson, of the MOIA group, who helped us get this website up and running. Thanks to Ian, we were able to reallocate money to support new projects, money that would have otherwise gone to website overhead costs.

What is the Central Honduras Education Fund?

The Central Honduras Education Fund was established in 2005 to provide full academic scholarships to rural Honduran students wishing to earn a college degree in Honduras. In 2010 we expanded our support to include students wanting to complete a high school degree.

In addition to academic achievement, our vision is for Scholars to become self-sufficient and productive citizens, positively contributing to the development and capacity of their rural Honduran communities.

Our organization is currently supporting 15 students in their pursuit of either a high school (12 students) or college (3 students) degree in Honduras.
