Each year the scholar group brainstorms and carries out a service project. Its part of a commitment to give back to the community. Service projects have included reforestation of hillsides, painting of a preschools, and cleaning of parks. This year the group decided to serve a vulnerable population. The group prepared sack lunches for families of patients at the largest public hospital in Tegucigalpa. Scholars woke early to prep and pack torillas, beans and eggs, then headed into the city to hand out food to patients and families of patients waiting outside the hospital. Check out the video below!
